Auhaus Architecture was founded by established Melbourne architects Benjamin Stibbard and Kate Fitzpatrick.

Well-known for highly engaging architecture that responds to context and landscape, Auhaus designs are characteristically strong formal compositions that use materials to reinforce the lines and geometry of each house.

"We believe that the design and arrangement of spaces can support and reinforce our relationships with one another and with nature, positively contributing to our wellbeing", says Kate.

In approaching the Auhaus Release for Lifespaces Group, Kate and Ben have focused on the core design principles that make a house a joy to inhabit.

Orientation, natural light and ventilation, spatial relationships, tall ceilings and flow between indoor and outdoor areas have been key considerations across all the designs. Robust, low maintenance materials have been chosen to weather gracefully over time.

Each of the houses have been designed differently to suit a variety of site orientations and conditions. The result is a comprehensive, truly functional range with wide appeal.

Kate says, "We are excited to be involved in a venture that makes good design accessible to a broader audience".
