Say Hello To The Black Scandi House!

Take a look at this recently built Scandi House designed by Auhaus Architects.

The Scandi House with charred black timber facade

One of Lifespaces Group’s most popular limited edition Auhaus designs, this Scandi House has just been built in Northcote, Melbourne.

Available in 3 facade colourways, this owner has chosen a charred timber instead of white or natural timber. The charred look is from Eco Timber who specialise in recycled and sustainable timber.  With an authentic Scandinavian look, the pared-back Scandi House is ideal for the robust Australian climate, and seamlessly complements its inner city streetscape.

The Scandi house is built on quality architectural design principles. Inclusions within the home include Premium Swiss appliances from Vzug, Signorino Tiles and Neolith stone benchtops throughout. Exclusive to the Scandi home is the Muuto by design ‘Under the bell ‘Light as standard. This beautiful light, which is handcrafted, further enhances the contemporary and unique design of the Scandi house. With cathedral ceilings complimented with whitewashed interiors, the Scandi House allows for a show-stopping design both inside and out.

A key highlight of the Scandi House is its north-facing design and internal courtyards. Combined with a free-standing limestone bath, and a second separate second living area it’s understandable why it’s one of our most popular builds. This home also features an Ergofocus suspended fireplace in the outdoor decking area.

A big part of the Lifespaces brand is our exclusive designs. Only 10 of the Scandi house will ever be built before the plans are retired.
